I started cel collecting just because it's a way 
of actually owning a part a great series.  
However, a friend of mine (who had a few cels but 
really wasn't into cel collecting to begin with) 
for some reason became really competitive with me 
when I started.  He thinks I'm in it just to beat 
him at something!  I really HATE it!  Can't a 
person just enjoy something without people trying 
to top them?  I just feel like telling him to 
leave me the f*ck alone.  When he gets a nice new 
cel, I compliment the cel and tell him what a 
great deal he got, but when I get a nice new cel, 
he can't stand that I found it before him.  He 
MUST KNOW where I found it and how much I paid.  
Why are people like that.  If I never started 
collecting, I don't think he'd be all that into 
collecting either.
