Don't you just hate that? (Tue May 1 23:43:40 2001 )

When you see an auction for a cel that's not a
wishlist, or even a series you collect, and would
put a tiny dent in your wallet, but you just LOVE
it anyway? That's happening right now for me.

There's this Tiger Eye cel on YJ that I
absolutely adore, and I'm almost sure I'd win it
if I bid (it's been through the cycle quite a few
times...) but I can't get it for a few reasons.

A) Seller does not accept international bidders.
Meaning I would have to ask a deputy service. I
was actually thinking more of contacting the
seller and just buying it (maybe for even cheaper
than the opening bid, since it's been circulating
they might be willing), but even if I ask Celga
to do this, a $30 surcharge is STILL slapped on.
Celga is great, but I just can't afford that
right now. I'd haveto find a cheaper dep.
service, which I have yet to do, and I hate
having to ask my Japanese contacts to bid.

B) Money. I really SHOULDN'T spend (I MIGHT have
be able to, but since very few cels were bought
from me during my sale, I'm afraid not...)

C) I want to save for so many other cels, first
and foremost (of Sailor Moon cels) would be a
Fish Eye cel. So what am I doing buying Tiger's
Eye cels? Bah >< I don't even collect SM...

Just needed a spot to vent, since I want this
pretty so badly, but it's just out of my grasp.
I imagine this type of thing, where you see cels
you want for reasons you can't really explain
(and that drive you insane), happens all the
time. I want to hear YOUR stories!

BTW, I posted a link of the cel below *sigh* So
pretty...hopefully no one here will go break my
heart and snatch him up...I'm looking forward to
seeing him around for a few more cycles ^.~
