Well, I don't enjoy shopping, for the most part, but I seem to have incredibly shopping luck whenever I do... (Fri Apr 27 21:44:22 2001 )

Yes, some women don't enjoy shopping. Mainly
because it sometimes reminds of things we *can't*
have. I myself don't keep track of sales, don't
worry about missing that one perfect blouse...if
I find a nice tank top for $3.99, I buy it, but I
never really go out expressly for clothes. Of
course, it's nice to go and try things on that
make you look and a feel nice about
yourself...that's mental thing, though, a self-
esteem issue. You always look better wearing it
in the store, as it is ^.~

Although, I will agree that women seem to get
more emotionally attached to anime. But it's the
same reason women get more emotionally in tune
with movies or books (hence why we can cry)...the
two sides of a women's brain are linked better
than a male brain. Men have trouble using both
too much at once, and so taking in text or
digesting a plot whilst trying to get emotionally
involved is a tough job. For women it's easier,
partly borne from our maternal instincts. Not to
say that ALL men have trouble with this and ALL
women can do it easily, but this is merely a
generic explanation. Take it as you will ^_^

Perhaps, with that in mind, could explain why we
are more rampant about our cels and indded, get
mor emotionally attached to them. Just a thought.

Ja!
