Please forgive me if my original correction 
seemed curt.  I used to always get cels of 
Hattori and Shinichi mixed-up, especially since 
Hattori doesn't appear in any of the episodes 
that have been fansubbed in English.  One of 
these days I'm going to make a guide for telling 
Kaito, Hattori, and Shinichi apart, since 
Aoyama's character design for his teenage-boy-
protagonists doesn't vary very much ^_^;;
