It is the easiest way to keep the weight of the 
cels on the top layers of a celbook from putting 
pressure on cels below them. Hanging them means 
that only the cel's own weight is putting pressure 
on each cel. It also is a good way to store them 
to keep them out the way and free up shelf space, 
since most people have more closet space than 
shelf space.
