hmm
well it was a very nice gesture to give a friend 
a cel at all...I wish I had a hundred friends all 
armed with spare xellos cels just like you!
...seriously though she must love them a lot if 
she took the time to frame them and hang them up.
  Even if the cels are worthless now to another 
collector...Im willing to bet they are worth a 
lot to her, because a good friend gave them to 
her...
  I have a couple of cels where the reg holes 
were cut off and then retaped on, making it 
seriously difficult to figure out if the numbers 
that are on the cel are accurate at all because 
thats exactly what got cropped off...
   but I love them anyway...and you cant tell in 
my gallery which ones they are..so I can still 
brag, Id just feel funny about not telling 
someone if I were to resell them.
  I dont think your friend will try to resell 
them..it sounds like she went through a lot of 
trouble to make them look nice..
The only thing to do is grit your teeth and tell 
her they look great on her wall..if she ever does 
become a collector, she will do plenty of kicking 
herself in the future..


Pale (who once repainted a table a friend gave 
her because she hated the "folk art" on it only 
to find out later her friend painted it on there
