Oh to be under 30 again, wouldn't that be nice.

We're looking very closely at mid-40's here and 
I'm darn sure that some of the folks I saw at the 
cel forum at AX were close to me in age -- 
probably not older, but close.

I just got started on this obsession.  Being 
*ahem* "middle-aged" does not mean you have to 
stop 1) being silly; 2) developing odd 
collections of things at any point in your life 
or; 3) spending hundreds of dollars recklessly 
(in spite of the spectre of braces, music lessons 
and college tuitions coming up in the not-too-
distant future... for both me AND my kids *grin*)

Seriously though I think I enjoy the hobby more 
than I would have younger because I appreciate -- 
boy do I appreciate -- the immense amount of time 
and work that went into this art.

Either that, or I'm just nutz.  A distinct 
possibility.
