Why not to take cel setups apart when you are tired. (Thu Jul 12 06:24:32 2001 )

I finally got my Taro cels, including a lovely
setup of Aki with a book background. Now the two
cels were stapled to the acetate holding the book
background peice, but there was a blank cel
stapled in between that was rather dirty and
clouding the view of the other two. I had this
bright idea that I could get that layer out from
the staples without actually taking the staples
out...

No this story isn't going to end as badly as you
think...

Anyway, I had great fun shredding the blank layer
(acetate tears very easy, for those who don't
know), but there were still bits stuck in the
staples behind the book layer acetate. While
trying to get those loose, I realized the stress
has torn the acetate of the book background layer
(since it was a blank sheet with the background
peice attatched, it isn't that bad, but still not
great) and remembered then that staples can rust
and are bad for cels and should be taken out
^^;; So I did, and ended up causing slight
damage to the piece holding the book background
section for absolutly no reason. And I am not
touching any of the cels again until I get some
sleep. Tommorow will be big gallery update day,
hopefully ^^;; Anyway, lesson to be learned by
all, you are very stupid when you are tired, so
don't touch anything remotely valuable -_-
