Anyone have a clue how eBay even decides what
is or isn't morally "acceptable" for the site?

Man, I got such a laugh out of reading their
list of stuff that had to be in the Mature
Audiences area... and those that were risque
but still "allowed" outside of MA... I mean,
the last paragraph alone (no vibrators outside
of MA, but massagers are ok???) gave me such
a chuckle...

I didn't see where eBay was "banning" or pulling
yaoi? Or are they just keeping that a secret
between them and the sellers they attack? (That
way, they don't upset all of the buyers, right?
cha-ching... and the money keeps flowing...)

What next? Was yaoi just not bringing in enough
money for eBay? I know "hentai" is a target
next as well, but I assume it sells pretty well,
and eBay is probably hesitating because they
don't want to lose all of those profitable
ending-fees for the high-selling hentai vcds,
dvds, etc... yaoi doujinshi usually sells pretty
cheap (under $20) so are they really losing that
much money by playing Moral God and saying
that this fairly-harmless genre that seems to
upset some of the holier-than-thou eBayers (who
should either invest in a filter for their
"children" if the tykes are searching for
adult "sexual" materials anyway! or else *gasp*
PARENT them!) who have nothing better to do than
search for things to report to eBay...

Lady Z
(who *DOES* have better things to do with her time
than search for things that might offend her...
geez, those ppl need a hobby AWAY from the
computer!)
