Evangelion cels were never released by gainax to 
the public. So finding ANY actual production cel 
(not a repro mind you) of a main character is 
going to be not only incredibly difficult, but it 
isn't going to be very cheap either. I think I 
heard a rumor about a collector paying 15 grand 
at an auction in japan for a cel..but It was 
probably just a rumor..
Ive seen the handpainted repros around and also 
the machine made series here and there I wouldnt 
but..they range from 50.00 to 150.00 depending on 
who it is and where you find them..I wouldn't 
mind a kaoru myself, but I tend to look at repros 
as inferior to an actual production cel..only a 
personal bias some repros are stunning..the magic 
for me is that its THE EXACT cel used for the 
scene that I loved so much..but thats another 
topic all together..heh
