Sellers... can anyone help on this problem/decision? (Tue Jul 3 05:01:42 2001 )

Okay, I am trying to get of feel of what would
be best here. I am trying to be
customer-friendly (and do honestly like this
person I am dealing with) but I don't know what
to do...

How long before you cancel a sale?

Now, I am asking because my decisions in the
past on this subject (no, I am not trying to bring
up any old arguments! please don't contrue this
as a hateful thread or something that begs for a
flame!) ended in simply a lot of tension and bad
feelings on both ends.

However, in this case, I have ended eBay auctions
for this person and put some cels "on hold" that
other people wanted as well... (and no, this
person doesn't read the forum to my knowledge,
so this is not a personal attack, either) The
last I heard from this person was on June 7th when
he/she said that the payment was being sent
ASAP... and nothing has come, no reply to my
recent emails, etc...

Under normal circumstances I would probably not
feel a bit panicked, but I am selling the cels
out of necessity due to a personal situation in
the first place, so even a measly $200 does make
a difference. =( (Plus I owe someone around
that amount and it would be nice to pay that
off and not have to continue digging in the
couch -_-)...

So, my question: What do other people do when
faced with this question? How do I go about
either gently nudging the person into paying for
the cels or cancelling the order without hurting
feelings or making an enemy? As I mentioned, I've
worked with this person in the past and sincerely
like him/her... however, nothing has been paid on
the "order" and I'm just sitting on cels that
could help pay off debt (although nowhere near
the goal, *sigh*)...

a personal attack on her... this is a serious
question...)
