Hi Starfighter!

Well, if you're looking for SM collectors, you
came to the right forum! I started collecting
cels about three years ago. There were a lot of
other SM collectors back then, and the collector's
circle has grown rapidly since the S and SuperS
seasons finally got airtime on US television.
More competition, but hey, more cool people to
discuss cels with! As you can see, there are
several who frequent the forum here, and they're
all really nice.

Incidentally, I tried to include most of the other
SM collectors on my links page, but it's getting
out of date. ^^; There are tons more I need to
add, so hopefully I'll get to that later this
week. (If you're not on there and want to be,
e-mail me!)

To try to answer your question--value and rarity
depends on the quality of the cel in question, but
I would definitely say that cels of the Princess
forms of Serenity/Small Lady, the outer senshi
(especially Hotaru/Saturn and Pluto/Setsuna), and
Black Lady are all very hard to find (and usually
very expensive). Bank cels and opening cels are
very rare, too. Cels of the Three Lights weren't
so hard to find in the past, but they're rapidly
becoming more so, and Princess Kakyuu is almost
impossible to find anymore. Eternal Sailor Moon
also seems to be climbing in value. Practically
any good A level cel of a main character is going
to be worth a small fortune these days.

Anyway, that's only a fraction of the cels out
there, and cels of the bad guys can be just as
valuable and hard to find, especially if you're
talking about the generals/kings from the first
season. (That's why I don't have any.) T_T

Ja!
~Anne
