The past few days have been pretty lousy with
dealing with tech support idiots for my laptop
and having to send it in for service again though
I just got it back (has a tendency to shut down
suddenly and not turn on for eight or more hours)
which will cause me to miss out on work and
several hundred dollars in pay (if the mpany ever
gets money to pay me AND my dad all the back pay
they owe) So you can imagine I have been quite
frustrated with things.
But I was actually shaken more by the dream I had
last night where I recieved my order confirmation
from Taro and ALL TEN of the items I ordered had
sold out. My parents were totally unsympathetic
(as they would be in reality most likely) and I
sent a rather upset e-mail to Stephen about how
he could run a sale like that and other upset
things (in the dream, of course ^^;;) The worst
thing was there were several instances in my
dream where I "woke up" and the thing hadn't een
a dream. Seriously, it was very creepy and
completly real... I even went through all the
pondering of possible other cels to put the money
towards, and lament of all the things I had sold
for the sale.
I ended up waking up at a ridiculous time
considering I'm not going into work today, and
RAN to my dad's computer to check my e-mail. Lo
and behold, there was order confirmation for my
pre-crash eight item order, just need to await
word of the later order of two cels. But still,
that nightmare really shook me... the computer
can be repaired or replaced (though hopefully
I'll get the stuff off the HD that I still need
o_O) but those cels were a once-in-a-liftime
opportunity, and greatly increase the number and
range of my collection, blah blah blah.
So anyway, what I was wondering was, what kind of
horrible nightmares has everyone else had
regarding cel collecting? I know I can't be the
only one to have any, and I want to know what has
scared the bejeebees out of other people too...
Hopefully will cheer me up and be an interesting
conversation topic for everyone else too ^^ |
