I don't think the cel community on a whole is
uh... spooky as you say ^_^.  For one thing, while
we are a fairly "small" community, there are still
enough of us to be very diverse.  This means that
it's less likely anyone will be ostracized.  I
don't think the named people in the recent
arguments are really that spooky either.  I can't
say much about the anonymous flamers though, I
think it's best just to ignore them.  No one knows
when they're strike ^_~  

Anyway, in a community this big with many issues
to face, it's not unbelievable that there would be
some heated arguments.  It's good to have debates
and see both sides, I just think some people get a
little too offensive and some people get a little
too sensitive.  I do suggest you read the forum
archives.  Not only  do they show that there have
been debates before these, but they also contain
tons of great information.  Plus, I think you'll
see a lot of kind spirit as well.

Just keep a good outlook, don't let your "for fun
hobby" get you down, be polite and think things
through and I'm sure you'll be fine ^_^ (you
probably already knew that though ^_~).
