Have you tried using a different newnet server? 
Often each one has different klines. (I'm klined 
for some reason on irc.eskimo.com)

here's a few others to try:

irc.aohell.org
irc.hawaiin.net

I'm sure others can come up with me, these are 
the only ones I can remember.
