I know what you mean about bells & whistles 
overkill sometimes.. For me though, this gallery 
was written as more of a challenge than anything. 
Currently there are 3 different versions embedded 
into the main page. You only see the one your own 
browser needs. I'm planning on adding more 
browsers (Opera, Mozilla, NN6) as time allows as 
well as writing up the lo-res version for older 
browsers. I just wanted to go ahead and put out 
what I had so far ^^

As far as size goes, since 800X600 has been the 
market standard for a few years now, I thought 
I'd go more with that.. I apologize to those 
people who get the nasty scrollbars because of 
the size!
