thanks to everyone for posting their gorgeous 
crying cels. the real reason for my post was, I'm 
working with a friend on a multimedia comic book, 
which is mostly inked but of course includes a 
few cel splash pages that I'm painting myself. 
one of the main characters first enters the story 
crying silently and heavily, with no explanation 
why. I needed a few ideas on how to best depict 
the tears, and your posts really helped! I'm 
pretty sure it's going to end up sort of like 
yui's crying in episode 11 of fushigi yuugi.
