The Lexmark Z82. It is one of those all in one 
printer, scanner, copier deals. It has a pretty 
good scanning area, about 8.75x12. The software 
is really simple to use and the previews it gives 
are fast and of good quality so you don't spend 
an hour just find where you need to crop an 
image. I took the scan below o nthe machine. It 
retails for $179.95, but you can get it cheaper 
at Amazon.com. Sorry to hear about the scanner,
