Howdy,

Rubberslug lets collectors create free cel
galleries in a snap without HTML. Starting a page
is quick, but still allows you to customize your
page quite a bit once you dig into the more
advanced features. Here’s some of the new tools
I’ve put in over the last few weeks. I’m not sure
how much of this I’ve publicized.

To create a *free* cel gallery, visit the Rubberslug
home page.

- Change colors of just about everything.
Borders, background, content area, etc. (no more
all black backgrounds!)
- Change fonts for body text in your cel gallery
- Make thumbnails from large images. Must be JPG
for now. Just upload cel images and click on Make
Thumbnail and the server does the rest.
- Gallery listing now displays galleries by
update time, to ensure that all the visitors know
your site has been updated.
- Left or centered page alignment
- Upload graphics for more elements in your
gallery. Allows for graphic borders, graphic
backgrounds, etc.

Feature wishlist: (no guarantees that any of this
will get finished any time soon… sorry )

- add code that will add your gallery to the
animanga cel ring
- link as http://www.rubberslug.com/yourgallery
instead of http://www.rubberslug.com/?
go=yourgallery
- ability to attach sketches to cels
- watermark your cel images (I finally found
something that can do this!)

Question? Comment? Feature suggestion? (I love
these in particular!) Send feedback to
noisywalrus@mail.utexas.edu instead of
jason@orchidflux.com as usual since we’re having
some technical difficulties right now…..

**One last final thing:**

I’m not too attached to the name of the site
right now. “Rubberslug” just doesn’t scream anime
cel gallery. I honestly just had it lying around.
What do you think? Like it? Hate it? Does anyone
have any ideas for a possible new name for the
site?

Off to dinner. Thanks everyone for your interest
and continued support!

- Jason
