I just wanted to point out that there are some 
established rules and pointers on how to be kind 
and forgiving to other people in the internet 
community. I believe that most people here do 
follow these regardless of stated or unstated 
rules for this particular forum. For example:

I appreciate posts like Jenny's that bring some 
common sense to the discussion. For one, I'm 
really not in the mood to see a silly flamewar 
over not much of anything when there are so many 
more distressing things happening in the world. I 
come here to take a break from watching the news. 

Can we be a little more kind and forgiving of
