Flash as in Macromedia Flash or flash as in "stare
at me I'm going to cause you a seizure"? ^^;;

I have to visit this site now with Javascript
turned off, or it crashes Netscape something
fierce. I think that one of the ads conflicts
with itself if there are two versions of it open
(I admit it, I'm a multitasker...every thread I
want to read I open in a new window. It's just
easier that way ;)). I've been getting lots of
funky stuff happening recently, with ads taking up
the whole screen, three loading in at once along
the top, etc.

On the popups...I dunno, I'm definitely seeing
more than one. The yellow flashing "You have one
message waiting for you" opens up two popups; one
that says "New Message / you have one message
waiting for you" and one that talks about NextCard
Visa (interestingly, only the one comes up from
that particular ad in MSIE. But Netscape has got
to be pulling the code from somewhere). Opening a
random page up in MSIE yields me a "Find your old
classmates" popup.

And...I'm too lazy to check on them any more, but
you get the idea. It probably seems like more to
some people because the Visa one comes up so
frequently. I think it's worse for Netscape users
(and before anyone tells me to change over to
MSIE...besides really not liking MSIE (I've tried
to switch over many, many times ^^;;), my
particular computer system does not sync well with
MSIE 5.x. To be frank, it hates it and it sets up
this domino effect where nothing else will open if
it's open).

I'm not complaining, just trying to help describe
the situation. As I said, I now visit with
javascript unenabled, which seems to alleviate
most, if not all of these problems. Any easy fix
(so long as I remember to *G*).

Ja,
Talia
