There are many cards that are starting to do 
that. Thankfully, mine is not one of those cards. 
(I use an AT&T Universal Card, which I highly 
recommend! It's so good, it's the only card I 
have.)  You have to watch out what you put down 
for the transaction details. It's usually safe to 
put "goods, non-aucition" at all times, but you 
really should call your card company and check.

I'm waiting for the next big company that will 
find some way to screw Paypal users. ^_^;;  ~_~;;
