I think I can understand your view.  I have been 
collecting about a year now, and started with FY, 
because it was the most affordable of all the 
series that I liked (my favorite series being 
Utena).  There were plenty of cels around, both 
TV and OAV.  Heck, one of the first cels I got 
was my TV Nuriko, and boy do I consider myself 
lucky for that one.

I remember hearing a while back that all the FY 
cels had been released from the studios... all of 
them were now out on the market.  Around that 
same time, they started becoming harder to find.  
And the prices started going up.

Needless to say, FY is no longer the cheapest 
series that I collect... it is probably one of 
the most expensive now ^^;;  It's been a sad 
thing to watch, and hopefully settle down soon.  
My hope is that there will be a rush to sell with 
prices so high, and the flood will perhaps bring 
prices back down to a sane level.  Or so one can 
hope ^^;;  Hey, I still need my TV Tasuki and 
Tamahome ^^;;;;;
