Thank you all for contributing your thoughts and 
feelings to this post. I learned many different 
perspectives. It's not like I don't know them or 
understand them from an intellectual sense, but 
hormones come into play in a physio-psychological 
way for men especially.We just don't talk about 
it in posts. We probably should though, if that 
might bridge the gap, that I am sensing from some 
of your remarks. What makes us the "Wolves, 
Vampires", and monsters we can tend to be? (*Not 
that I know anything about these matters*) I 
don't know (*tongue in cheek*) but I know you ALL 
have something to do with it!
Beyond that,there so many different themes at 
play in everyone's head regardless of gender at 
every level of sexual interest or disposition 
that nothing is cleary defined actually.  But 
I'll never go shopping for make-up, earrings for 
both ears, weight-watchers, or color coordinators 
^-^. I am a man in the normal sense or the 
western world. I can be sensitive or macho. I 
have a good sense of humor and I can share my 
thoughts and feelings. I can commit...(*I hear 
screams in the distance*)But that said, I don't 
want to look like, act, emmulate a beautiful 
woman. I will emmulate any intelligent human 
being regardless of looks or sex should it fit my 
disposition. Of course, this is all personal. 
Just as you ladies may feel that it is hard to 
find a "good man" in this emotional capacity, the 
knife cuts both ways. Communication, sharing, and 
love be it male or female cuts both ways. IMHO.
So, give us macho-anime characters a chance there 
is a soft side if you look deep enough. Sometimes 
looking past the "prettiness" for substance (like 
one poster said) is really the important part of 
any character...That said, don't you dare look at 
my "cheese-cake" cels!! (*LOL* self-indulgent 
laughter*) What a hypocrite I am,,,oh well I 
tried to communicate, the cold-dumb beast that I 
am.^-^ We were talking about cels...right?? Oops!
