eye catch, bakelit, FX, key, harmony and tome cel questions + show me... (Fri Jan 18 03:03:34 2002 )

First I'm unsure about the definition of an eye
catch cel. Is it a cel that's only shown for a
very short moment in the anime, or is it the cel
which is shown before and after the TV
commercials?

Further there was a time ago already a discussion
about that, but I just wanted to recall the
following just to be sure if it's right.

A1 end cels are in most cases Key cels, because
they are the first and the last cel of the scene
and so of higher importance and because of that
drawn by Key animators...

Harmony and Tome cels are mostly A1 end cels,
too, but those ones (and A1 end cels, to) can
have sublayers which can have more numbers like
B2, C3 ...

Here I think (which probably means I'm wrong I
guess) that this is the difference between eye
catch cels, which after my thoughts are only "1"
layers. (A1 end B1 end C1 end)

To make the confusion perfect: Are bakelit cels a
sub category of FX cels?
Or are FX cels only layer for rain snow and so on
and bakelit cels for the light effects (because
of the black bg)?

Well, please correct me, I'm really confused
about the definitions ...

Oh and to make this an "SHOW ME!" THREAD, too,
please show me such offbeat cel types from your
collection :)
