    Elimination Round
Option 1: Advanced math finally put to use" As I accept all the entries, I generate a random number for them according to the time they arrive, the date, the number of their last forum posting, a number code derived from their email addy, etc and once all the numbers are filled out, I just have someone pick a number. Pros: Only way that can be completely unfixed by me. Cons: People will still say it was fixed using backwards reasoning (which is illogical since I didn't assign the numbers in the first place, only the logarithm that determined them) and I will be flamed, get pissed off, and NO ONE GETS PRIZES. Option #2: Riddle-me- anime After everyone's qualified, I'll post a riddle every day that has a set field of answers (anime, forum usernames, cels on websites that were used during the competition...) and people get eliminated one by one until there's a winner. Pros: prizes are skill-based. Cons: My language gets a bit Shakesperian/gothic when I do riddles or poetry. Since a lot of people on this forum are not as adept at the english language, they will be at a disadvantage. People will also bicker about the answers to some riddles via different interpretations, I will be flamed, get pissed off, and NO ONE GETS PRIZES. Option #3: Trivia Instead of riddles, I'll use a couple of anime trivia questions every day, that can be answered by going to the links listed under animanga section of that series. Pros: More language friendly, also skill based. Cons: I'm not an anime expert, and not every website has its facts right (*cof cof Schuldich's eyes are BLUE not GREEN) and people will bicker, I will be flamed, get pissed off, and NO ONE GETS PRIZES. Option #4: Everyone gets prizes The prizes will be MUCH diminished, but everyone who submits a correct set of answers will get them. Pros: Isn't it obvious? Cons: I pay a hell of a lot of postage, put in a large amount of hours, have no free time for several weeks, get bitchy about the fact that no one ever shows appreciation by going to my website and signing my guestbook, and never do the scavenger hunt again. Option #5: No one gets prizes Pros: No pressure, on anyone in the forum or me, to be the first to get it right. You only get the satisfaction of solving my puzzle. Cons: No one gets prizes. I LIKE to give prizes, and if I had a magic wand that I could touch to acetate and turn into beautiful cels for the winners, I really really would do it. Unfortunately, really nice artbook cels take me at least 10 hours each, decent cels take me ~5 hours each, and even chibi cels take me ~1 hour each. Not to mention the postage to everywhere around the world. Just for this current contest I expect to put in about 20-25 hours of my own time (after working 9 hour days) into painting the big cel plus all the little cels for the winners, and at least $15 in shipping--and that's for only 4 people. See my problem?
