I definitely prefer to see galleries where the
cels are accompanied by a commentary. This can
include episode or scene identification or
description, but also can mean a commentary of
why you like a certain cel. Commentary makes it
much easier for someone to more fully appreciate
a gallery of cels from shows that they have not
seen.

But I always try to AVIOD major spoilers. I don't
remember if I have any of them up now, but there
are a few cels of mine for which my first comment
is: "I can't describe the scene without spoilers,
so I won't." Instead, I make sure to say something
else of interest about the cel - a note about a
detail I like, or I point out something unusual.
("This character usually isn't painted this way",
"notice the _______". . . etc.) These would be
things the importance of which would otherwise be
lost on someone who hasn't seen the the show.

Another thing I like that I don't see much of
(which I'm trying to do for my own site) is to
see some kind of comment on why a person likes a
certain show so much. You might buy a handful of
cels from a show you just found interesting, for
no other reason than they look nice. But if you've
got fifty cels all from one certain anime. . . It
screams there was something special to you about
that ceratin piece more than others. ^_^ So far,
the only place I have done a page like this is
for Psychic Force. ^_^ (See the link at the top
of my Psychic Force cel page. ^_^) But I have one
in the works for both Eatman and Vampire Miyu.
I'd love to see more people do the same kind of
thing! ^_^

Many Sharp Smiles,
