If collects for one of both of those reasons then 
I would think there a cel hoarder. Buying a cel 
to impress some one goes against the any reasons 
I can see to collect anime cels. I know some 
people that collect because the have a favorite 
character. They like the show and want a small 
part of it.  Or because they like they may never 
have seen the show but they like the artwork. I 
have some cels that I think no one else would 
want, and have never gotten a cel on hopes that 
some one will like me or stop by my site more. I 
quit trying to do that in High School ^_^;;;
