How about I just tell you the galleries I 'haunt'
the most?

Given my obsession with Yue-san, ISL's Anime Cels
Collection (Her site is in the webring, but I
don't know if it's link-free so I won't put a link
here) is one of my favorite galleries to view. I
would love to be able to sit down with her, look
(IRL!) and listen as she turns through all those
lovely Yue-san cels and tells the collector's
story behind each one. It would take an entire
afternoon, I'm certain, but that would be time
very well spent! ^_^

Jaana has an amazing sketch of Hotohori-sama when
he reveals his Seishi mark for the first time in
her Fushigi Yuugi gallery. *fan-girl sigh!*

I would dearly love to get the cel that was made
from that sketch, but I know I'd have to fight off
other rabid Hotohori-philes to even have the
chance!

I like The Jaanaverse because not only does she
have lovely cels (from many shows, not just
Fushigi Yuugi!) but also because it makes me
laugh. Some of Jaana's comments about why she got
a cel are simply wicked! (Wicked in a good,
teasing way, not in a bad way at all!)

Finally, Diana has a comprehensive and beautiful
collection of Yukito Tsukishiro cels in her Cherry
Snow gallery. Since he is (Oh! How do we handle
potential spoilers on the forum?) well, let me
admit I like Yuki almost as much as my beloved
Yue-san and leave it at that!

It seems most cel collectors (including these
three) post messages that state clearly that their
cels are not for sale or trade. I respect that.
It must be annoying, when you have such a
statement, to get emails offering to buy or trade
for a NFS cel. So, I don't look at the particular
cel in someone's gallery as something I want as
much as a similar cel or one from that sequence.
Of course, if it's an A1 end cel, there's no
chance, but most of the time there's another
similar cel available out there somewhere!

Yaay! ^_^
