Dear Friend,

Hi, well the difference is that real backgrounds
are the ORIGINAL watercolor or acrylic paintings
that the animation company uses to film behind
their cels in the actual film.  Color copies are
just xerox machine made color copies of these
original paintings.  I hope this helps!
