A fan is an enthusiast, not an expert who 
requires depth and breadth. 

It's not anyone's place to judge enthusiasm. It 
can be buying a single anime cel, watching an 
anime many times, or even wanting to see animes 
even if the opportunity is not available. 

Descartes said it best, "I think [I am a major 
anime fan], therefore I am".
