1. My favorite character is definitely Van
(especially Van with wings *sighs happily*).  He
starts out surly, but darned if he doesn't grow on
ya.  I'd also like to get at least one Meruru cel
some day.

2. I'm waiting for the dvd boxset to come out this
summer (assuming the preorder info I've found is
right...if it's not someone's just being too cruel
^_~) before I rewatch Escaflowne, so it's been a
while since I last really saw it.  But for
favorite scene I'd have to say any shots of tv Van
with wings.  Me and five million other people *G*.

I also like the scene where they're flying in
Escaflowne (in dragon form) right after Van first
reveals them, and Hitomi blushes and says that she
likes them.  Squeee!  And the one where Folken
puts his hand over Hitomi's mouth to keep her from
screaming.

Anyway, here's my one and only Van cel.  With a
tiny bit of wing, because that's all I can afford
^__^;;.
