Hakkenden (AIC/Pioneer - not the new Shin 
Hakkenden thing of cutesy characters, though the 
original Hakkenden OAV eps 7-13 is sometimes 
titled "Shin Hakkenden" as well; great to confuse 
us) underwent several crew changes which is best

I personally have only seen the first 3 or 4 
episodes; the first two were enchanting, but the 
art change from 2-3 was too traumatic for me. (At 
least I think it was 2-3... very early on, anyway.
^^;;)

In any case, cels from the later Hakkenden should 
be very very cheap (I have two later Hakk cels, 
but I don't know from which eps since I didn't 
see beyond ep 3/4; apparently the art got a 
little better?). 

The most expensive Hakkenden cels I've seen were 
over $100 each and specifically from the first 
two episodes; mind you, I wouldn't have minded 
cels from the first two just because I think the 
art is gorgeous. Unfortunately I have't seen cels 
from the first two eps again, and the place that 
originally sold them is defunct.
