I do webcomic shtuffs (long story), and learned
long ago the worst thing you can do is put
Japanese/anime references in a comic if you want
it for a wide audience...it's like death (thus,
giving Japanese names to non-Japanese characters
is generally frowned upon). Also, after a while
it gets quite annoying and pretentious in and of
itself. However, since this is an RP character, I
suppose it could work. However, what I find works
best, if I can't find a suitable name in my baby
names book (a must-have resource for anyone who's
ever created characters, I say...sooo helpful), I
sit down and just write random sequences of
letters. Usually after a few tries an original
and characteristic name forms. Usually, the best
and most fitting names arise from this, as they
are created by you and closer to your heart and
thus the heart of the character.

P.S. - My this sounds holier than thou o.O Gomen,
I'm tired and cranky -.-
