Most cel collectors wouldn't be able to tell if a cel was
actually seen or edited out in the anime. So the value of the
"edited out" cel would be the same as one actually seen in the
show. It was probably filmed, but it may have been cut due to
time restraints (such as fitting it into a TV time slot, or for
continuity reasons- possibly they made a better transition by
cutting it a bit early.) There are lots of possible reasons why
you may not see it in the anime.

Some worthless notes:
(Anime World Star has lots of cels from Taiho Shichauzo, including
the very recent Taiho Shichauzo Special. They also have some TV opening
cels, but they're only of so-so quality. Still haven't found
many CCS cels, but I did find a neat Lain cel at K-Books.
Mandarake in Nakano has a cel of San from Princess Mononoke, but
the image is quite small. They're asking for 20,000 # for it.) |
