To answer you briefly :

I don't think that people knowing what is exactly an
hanken (and there is many seeing the question asked
in the forum) will understand that it's a copy of
the hanken that was used to make the cover.

As people know CPM is producing the manga, they will
think that it's realy the painting of the cover.
Especialy when it's writen right after :

2)
> This piece is 100 percent unique

Only the original hanken can be unique. A copy is just
a that : a copy. Any number of it can be done and as
several people in this forum mentioned, they have this
picture already....

3)
> painted and imported from one of the actual animation
> studios in Korea that are used to create many well-known
> Animes.

This is also very confusing : Even if technicaly true,
people will assume that it's an official cel made by
the stdudio that created the anime. When it's not the
case : it's a studio that has nothing to do with the
anime. Yes they work sometime for Japanese studio
but they have nothing to do with that hanken...

4)
> This is not an original production cel

I never heard an hanken cel refered as "original production".
That term is reserved for cels used in the anime. Which
isn't the case of hanken. So that's not enough to say
that it isn't an hanken.

In all, I emailed CPM because I think that it _is_ confusing
and misleading. So why not add cleary in the description
that it _isn't_ an hanken when that's so easy to do ?
And I am glade that they saw fit to do it...
