The TV series is being released in a peculiar way- one name for the dubs, one for the subs.

The subs are Fushigi Yugi, dubs are Mysterious Play.  They are being released by Pioneer, I haven't heard anything about the OVA's, other than that there are supposedly two of them.  The TV series takes place first, the OVAs are sequels that happen when Miaka and Yui are in highschool vs Jr. High.  Something to do with saving Hotohori's baby...

But anyway, I understand the relevance of getting a cel which corresponds with the series you've actually seen, which is why I posted originally.  :)
