I've only been in Japan for a week, but here's what I've found:
Nakano: You'll see some yellow arches above an entrance to
a shopping arcade. (reminds me of McDonalds) You can see
it from Nakano station. Enter it, and walk til the end, til
you reach Nakano Broadway.
At Nakano, visit the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors.
Cel stores there:
Anime World Star
Anime Shop Commit
Mandarake (4th floor has cels)
Anime Shop Zero
Right now you can find lots of cels from To Heart at Anime
Shop Commit, around 2000-4000 yen for cels of the female
characters, mainly Akari and Aoi, and a few others. No Multi
cels though.
I found some really cheap BGC 2040 cels also, around 300-500 yen,
a few at Commit, and one or two at Mandarake. They were nice
shots-- I was amazed how cheap they were. I bought 2 only.
At Mandarake, you can find a number of cheap cels-- usually
under 1000 yen, but they tend to be the ones you don't particularly
want. They have some Brain Powered cels of Yuu, and packets of
just misc backgrounds for 1000 yen.
Anime World Star has tons of Tenchi and EL-Hazard cels-- I
think they were on sale. They also have tons of Daiundookai
cels, and a lot of Brain Powered cels-- although no really
spectacular cels. Anime World Star has sales periodically,
so if you're there for a while, wait til then. I think every
Tuesday it's 10 percent off. Just yesterday I bought some
cels, since it was 20 percent off.
