I understand there is a reason for many people to be anonymous.
I assume some people are dealers/collectors who would rather
speak with their collector side than their dealer side or would
not like to skew opinions by using their dealer side. Some
people are too shy to post. Others fear retaliation.

While I realize there is not always a need for a nickname and
email address, there are many reasons why some should think
about using them. First off, those who don't want to post to
the group will often email a person directly, if you don't have
an email address, you lose out on this information. Second,
having a nickname and email address doesn't let everyone know
who you are (getting extra email addresses is all too easy, and
nicknames are just made up). However, it lets others know you
are the same person if you post multiple times. It also tends
to make your post stronger because it shows the author is not
just an 'anonymous flamer.'

So, if you can, please use a consistent nickname and email
address.
