CONTD I sell on eBay. Although I agree with the attitude that eBay is damaging to cel collecting as a whole, the convenience can't be beat for selling things in a short time. I started the auction at the price I paid. I stated in the auction that I would end it at my own discretion and sell to the current highest bidder and if those terms were unacceptable, to please not bid on my auction. I closed the auction when it went to just about what Anime Vega was selling the same set for when you include shipping et al. I felt that was appropriate. I was providing a service and making a profit, but in such a way as no one suffered and everyone benefitted. Another thing I make my policy when selling, be it on eBay or otherwise, is to let people know about the other dealers out there. I recommend this forum and the Internet Guide to Anime Cels as well as those dealers I feel represent the highest caliber: Anime Taro, Anime Vega, Anime Chaos, Asylum Comics, Nichibei and Usagi's house. So there it is. There will be reselling of cels. The best thing that we can do, IMHO, is educate other cel collectors about what reasonable prices for cels are and what dealers we most recommend.
