(laughs) I can *definitely* understand your problem - this pretty much sums up my own plight. :) At first I started out with the small cels (in the $20-$30 range) and then started to buy slightly more expensive ones, but still wouldn't pay over $100. THEN Kaori in her black dress popped up on eBay and I instantly fell in love.....I bid a *lot of money, although I was lucky enough to get it for a under $100. As a few more cute cel popped up, I started thinking, "Well, maybe $100's not too bad.....it is worth it," which progressed to, "Well, maybe a LITTLE over $100 isn't too bad....after all, it's not *that* much more. I absolute refused to pay $200 or more for cels until little Hotaru popped up on Mangaya. I don't really like Hotaru, but she was *so* cute and was stuck in the dorms in MI with my car in TX and had extra money with no where to spend it. But $500, now - that's crazy! Of course there was *no way* I could possibly pay that much for *any* cel......and then Kaori kidnapping Hotaru pops up and I bid MORE than that on her!!! I'm actually using the money I had set aside for my college bill next month to buy her. |
