Well, I collect art I like :-). I know that's not very 
specific, but that's really the bottom line when I'm buying
a piece. 

Most of the art I have is science fiction/fantasy themed, 
mostly bought at science fiction conventions or from the 
artists directly. Most of the artists aren't well known 
outside the SF con world, but (just in case) some of the
pieces I have are by Nene Tina Thomas, Gail Butler, and 
Luise Perenne. I also have a number of pieces based on the
Pern books.

Cels fall definitely into the fantasy category for me. Even
if the story isn't fantasy, the artwork definitely is. And
we're fortunate to have a house with a LOT of wall space :-).
