I saw a dealer site that sells Futurama sketches.
Since there are no cels with this show, all computer
painted they can only sell the sketches and the prices of
the sketches are around $150 and up!!! And they also
produce a cel for some of the sketches, not production used
but painted after just for sale for $450 for both.
Is this the future of Anime cels were there are no more cels and the douga sketches are the only thing that can be
sold and are priced as much as cels?
Maybe since Futurama is so popular here that is why the
sketches are so expensive? But this may be the shape of
things to come.
