Re: In a world without cels. Is this the future with sketches? (Wed Apr 26 00:36:44 2000 )

First of all, it seems to me that American cartoon production art(whether it be drawings or cels) has always been far more expensive the anime production art.

I've started collecting non-cel production art recently.
I bought some gengas at The Shrine last Sunday and my penpal in Japan bought some character design boards for me.
I should be getting a copy of some Fushigi Yuugi guest character(for ep 5) designs that have a bunch of notes hand written on them.
Then again, even if used in production, photocopies have
always been considered worthless even if they're fun to look at.

I've also been collecting drawings and such from various people in the anime industry. I've only got 3 shikiji(2 from directors, 1 from a character designer) but this collection should grow in considerable size when I go to Comiket this summer
