What you said is true.  I suppose I had just gotten my hopes
up after coming across the update so early (but evidently
not early enough ;).  It did seem odd to me that the cel
(yes, it was Macross :P) was marked "sold" rather than "on
hold" only a day and a half after being uploaded.  The most
logical answer is that they did receive a lot of requests
for the cel.  I don't really hold them responsible; I just
needed to vent at someone who would understand. :)
