It's too bad you're out of closet space.  It's kind of funny,
I use those things that you hang in your closet to give you 
an extra bar that's a bit lower to hang things from, but I
do it just so I can fit more cel books!  I've also seen people
use the small plastic portable filers/filing cabinets, but
I guess that would only work for the small cel books, or perhaps
they would only fit cels and not cel books.  

Perhaps you could get the magazine/paper holder type bins for 
filing on shelves (the kind with the open front) and have 
those act as guides for your cel books?  Of course, I don't 
do it your way, so I have no idea if it works or not.

I was once tempted to back all my cels with some kind of thin
paper, just so they would be clear and not showing the cel
behind them (for cel books which didn't come with that stuff),
but I gave up due to lack of time.
