We use the silkscreen method as well 
for printing (painting) the artwork you see on 
CDs onto the CD itself. We use actual paint 
and mix the required colors accordingly, then 
each color is placed into its own location  in 
the machine with the appropriate silk screen. 
The paint is pushed through the screen by color 
layer then is flash cured with an U.V. 
lighting system. Our machines can put up to
eight different colors onto a CD. Most CDs you come
across have about 2 to 5 colors.
