I looked at a few chroma cels several months ago.
I am rather nearsighted so I was able to look
very closely at them. I could see the dots
used for the colors on the "cel". It was like the
dots you see when you look closely at a magazine
page. Of course the printing on a chroma cel is
finer than the printing a magazine.

Being able to see the dots was kind of a
turn-off. Maybe the newer chroma cels have higher
quality printing. I haven't seen any of the newer
ones. I guess that's why chroma cels are so
cheap. You get what you pay for.
