I felt such relief that someone else refers to 
it as fringe!!  I had to go as someone 
what "bangs" were!  I had an idea, but I wasn't 
sure.

I think it's a cultural thing.  "Bangs" is such a
funny word.  With fringe I think it is easy to see
where the name came from, but can anyone tell me
where the name "bangs" came from?  I don't 
understand it.  I would really like to know,
though.
