lain has been bidding on stuff as late as Sunday
night, so he's had access to the web. It shouldn't
be so hard to drop off a few emails to the people
who obviously have questions about him. 
By cancelling, Parrallax is letting the legitimate
bidders set a fair price, instead of making them 
pay for some deadbeat screwing around. And I'm 
sure $3000 would have helped his new car fund 
quite a bit. So I think it showed a lot of class 
on his part to cancel the bid, since the other
bidders were still trying to win. (and yes, I know
he was also protecting himself from high fees 
from eBay)
